VAFFU's Additional Operations Rating Requirements Are Listed Below For Fixed & Rotor Wing Operations​

 

LEAD PILOT OPERATION

1. OOLP CBT Completed

2. Schedule a Training Session with an Instructor

3. ONLINE Fire Traffic Area (operations) to demonstrate proficiency in both on scene and dispatch communications, tanker to tanker communications, and coordination with air attack and or lead planes. In this training you will complete the following drops to proficiency at the discretion of the Instructor.

   1. Lead In Operations

   2. Formation Flight Training​

   3. Bravo & Lead Plane Communications

JUMPER PILOT OPERATION

1. OOJP CBT Completed

2. Schedule a Training Session with an Instructor

3. ONLINE Fire Traffic Area (operations) to demonstrate proficiency in both on scene and dispatch communications, tanker to tanker communications, and coordination with air attack and or lead planes. In this training you will complete the following drops to proficiency at the discretion of the Instructor.
